The last years I have won many prizes and awards in some of the best competitions around the world, competing with excellent photographers, some of them dear friends, with stunning photographs and new ideas, and for each one of those prizes I am very proud and happy.

On the 219th July - August issue of "PHOTOgrapher" magazine widely regarded as the Greece's leading photography magazine, features an illustrated interview along with a two page portfolio with some of my favorite underwater photographs.

I am very pleased that one of my photos got the "Honorable mentioned" title for a second year in a row on the uw3some Category in the 6th "Through The Lens" Underwater Photography Competition.

So proud and happy to find out that through my Underwater Photographs, the Underwater World is getting so much popular and loved.

I am very pleased to see that my last award winning in RSMAS Underwater Photography Contest gave rise to so many web articles in my country and resulted to this beautiful two - page interview and presentation in "Eleftheros Typos" daily newspaper.

I am very proud to announce that my photograph of a "Cratena peregrina" nudibranch has won the 3rd place in the category "Fish or Marine Animal Portrait", in the annual underwater photography contest, hosted each spring, from the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.

I am excited after receiving an e-mail from OMA organizers, announcing me that I achieved double winning at the Liquid Capture "Masters of Underwater Photography" Contest.

I'm very pleased to announce that my photograph of the tiny jellyfish Pandea conica, which was competing with 51 more POTW winners for the title"Wetpixel Picture of the Year 2011", won the second place and a great prize!

What a great way to start 2012 with my photographs selected for "Agelioforos" newspaper annual calendar. "Agelioforos" is the biggest newspaper in Northern Greece, with very respectful journalists.
