The insistence of vice president of EUIFA Hakan Oniz and his efforts to find the way for me to travel to Famagusta, gave me the opportunity to meet very important people, historical figures of diving, underwater film producers and photographers who share the same passion for sea and sea creatures.

After the Symposium at Competition Winning Ceremony, I had the chance to presend, for the first time in public, samples of my work. A great start for a great night! The Festival Committee gave me the “Special Jury Award” for my participation in Digital Macro Category. I was very happy!

For the best closure I had the chance to meet and speak with Andre Laban, a man who is considered to be one of the most important people in history of diving. I have a very interesting conversation with a man who has million of stories to tell about diving experiences and magical diving destinations.
