This year’s contest was a “chest by chest” fight to the finish date for the first three designs that makes me very proud of winning. I want to congratulate all the entrants and thank Wetpixel for hosting this great annual contest.
My entrance tag was inspired and designed upon a much loved photograph of a batfish I took a few years ago in my trip to Indonesia. It was the last dive of my trip and still my wish list of critters was incomplete when we found this beautiful batfish, thin and dark with the characteristic bold orange outline to mark the beautiful fish shape.
I am looking forward to be tagged with one of the 4000 copies that the design will be printed in and already I am planning my 8-day trip to Raja Ampat Marine Park.
