The tiny jellyfish stood among 10,000 entries from photographers in 105 different countries so I have every reason to be happy. The Environmental Photographer of the Year is an international showcase for the very best in environmental photography and video, honoring amateurs and professionals of all ages. Organized by CIWEM since 2007, the Environmental Photographer of the Year is one of the fastest growing photographic competitions in the world.
Working for the public benefit for a clean, green and sustainable world, CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) is the only independent, chartered professional body and registered charity with an integrated approach to environmental, social and cultural issues.
The exhibition will be on show from 6th – 17th December 2011 at the SW1 Gallery so if you are visiting London in that period include SW1 to your sightseeing program.
