Back from Indonesia liveaboard at East of Flores.

DIVING CALENDAR

I started writing this short text about my amazing liveaboard trip in Indonesia with the Seven Seas on a route called ``East of Flores`` and I had to remind myself all the time not to chatter as there is a trip review to write about and an article coming up also!

It’s not easy to stay on summary when you have experienced what most of divers and underwater photographers call a liveaboard in a world – class diving destination and why not a “dream trip come true.”

I was a special guest in the December’s route as this trip was my award for designing the winning tag in 2013 Wetpixel Raja Ampat Entrance Tag competition. I enjoyed the hospitality given at the custom-designed to accommodate up to 16 guests the 33m traditionally built Buginese schooner. I was full all the time eating the great so tasty food. I was very pleased by the luxury in cabin and decks and amazed by the polite – always smiling crew and off course from our tour operator couple Carl and Linda. Carl was the head positive energy guy and Linda the talented videographer that offered us at the end of the trip the greatest souvenir of all: an East of Flores underwater moovie to watch with friends and family and share that amazing experience. Take a small taste of what is there to see in the trips gallery. The fun on boat No II was endless with the adventures of “the Smickies” with Jason, Elaine, Felix, Irene, Philip and Rabea always laughing and enjoying the underwater miracles of Indonesian Sea. Thirty one dives were not enough and to be honest 3001 dives will not be enough either, as every inch of sea bottom is covered with colorful, strange, beautiful Sea flora and fauna. Special thank you deserves to Erwin for great dive guiding and be sure I have put in top of my great dive destinations list this liveaboard trip with Seven Seas. I’ll be back!
