I am a supporter of this contest that gave me many awards the previous years and a big admirer of Venice. This year I won my first award on the parasite category in general and I am proud of it as in Aegean Sea there is not a plethora of this kind of themes to shoot comparing to tropical seas.
The awarded photo is the photo of a Pandea conica tiny jellyfish with a parasite attached on the out surface of the bell.
All winning photographs will be exhibited on the Museum of Natural History of Venice along with the Award Ceremony that will be held on October 24th at Museum of Natural History of Venice. I am really hoping to manage joining the award ceremony as a chance to meet good friends and underwater photographers. Many thanks to jury for this award!
